On February 27, Dean of Sberbank Corporate University Valeriia Zabolotna spoke at the «Corporate Universities of the Future» discussion of the IV St. Petersburg International Labor Forum.
The Forum is the largest event in Russia in the field of labor and human capital development for HR specialists, representatives of the legislative and executive authorities, experts and scientists.
The «Corporate Universities of the Future» panel discussion was joined by various heads of corporate universities and training centers: Rector of Gazprom Neft Corporate University Ilya Dementiev, Director of the EGO Translating Center for Foreign Languages Training Julia Chekmareva, Director of the Russian Railways Corporate University Roman Baskin, Head of Northern Capital Gateway Corporative University Lev Dmitriev, Modum Lab CEO Alexey Zinchenko, Head of NX Academy Ruslan Koynov, Director of the LANIT-TERCOM Marat Nemeshev, Director of Gazprom Corporate University Alexander Pechenkin, Head of ALEX FITNESS Corporate University Julia Tsyganova. The experts discussed what a modern corporate university will be like in 5-10 years and how to create a unique educational environment within a company.
Valeriia Zabolotna spoke about the challenges and trends in modern education. Among other things, the dean noted that while struggling for attention, various information sources create oversimplified content, which leads to cognitive primitivization and clip thinking. One has to create the conditions for a «default mode» which enables the brain to concentrate on the most important decisions and insights. To enable this mode of thinking, It is necessary to defocus for 23 minutes.
